This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, providing vital support to individuals with diverse needs. As a DSW, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized care, fostering independence, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. Your energetic approach and commitment to patient-centered care will make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and state regulations Skills Proven experience working in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments Strong knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care techniques Ability to perform CPR and first aid confidently in emergency situations Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, patients, and families Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility tasks Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Join us in making a positive impact by providing exceptional care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being.
