HOW YOULL MAKE AN
IMPACTAs a Sales Research Intern, you will contribute directly to the work of the U.S. Market Transformation and Development team by supporting real projects that impact our organization and mission. You will report to VP, Market Transformation and Development and collaborate with team members across the U.S.During this internship, you will focus on the following opportunity: Grow uptake of LEED and other USGBC/GBCI
products and services by supporting inside sales, including industry and client research, aid in sales or business review meeting preparation, and/or contribute to prospecting activities.
This work will support the growth of LEED and other USGBC/GBCI
products and help inform future decisions, policies, or improvements. You will also :
Gain hands-on experience working on meaningful initiativesDevelop professional and technical skillsPartner with experienced professionals across teamsLead a defined project with measurable outcomesExpected OutcomesBy the end of the internship, you are expected to deliver:
Independently developed work plan with milestones and deliverablesFinal work product as best fits the project (industry/client research, sales meeting or business review preparation, prospecting activities)Final presentation for the Intern Showcase KEY LEARNING AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and support the inside sales process to grow LEEDConduct research on strategic clients or target industries and summarize findings for internal stakeholdersCollaborate with team members to gather insights and coordinate deliverablesTrack progress and document work using MS suiteDevelop reports, presentations, and written materials for leadership and partnersParticipate in team meetings, project reviews, and learning sessionsSupport data collection, evaluation, and quality assurance activitiesContribute to improving internal documentation and workflowsMaintain accurate records of weekly hours workedPrepare and deliver a final project/research presentation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Prior internships, research projects, volunteer work, or relevant coursework in business, marketing, or salesAbility to balance listening and talking, speaking and writing clearly and accurately, influencing others and keeping others informedAbility to break apart complex work into manageable tasks, create a plan, and follow through on tasks without being askedAbility to recognize and correct spelling and grammar errors, while maintaining the rules of USGBCs voiceBeing receptive to feedback, willing to learn, and embracing continuous improvement EducationCurrently pursuing or recently completed studies in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related fields Technical ToolsFamiliarity with:

This position is remote in the United States. Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in the interns time zone. Note:

Hourly rate: $20$25 per hour, based on education and experience. Compensation is determined using an internal intern pay matrix and is not negotiable.
