Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Rental Manager - Trench Safety in Manassas, Virginia. The Rental Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the rental store/stores to ensure a safe, efficient and profitable operation to support the rental store/stores and corporate objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate Team Members. Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years' management experience in a service related industry; Minimum of two years' supervisory experience; Experience in the Rental Equipment Industry, preferred; Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred. Requirements for the Rental Manager position include: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent sales skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Must be able to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Must be able to function well in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. Must have an excellent driving record. Must be able travel frequently - overnight and out of town. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Promote a positive customer experience. Physical requirements must be met for the Rental Manager job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear.
