Job Description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. The Repair Manager is responsible for overseeing the repair operations within the warehouse. This position involves managing a team of repair technicians, ensuring efficient and timely completion of repairs, and driving P&L results. Responsibilities Oversees the coordination of testing, repairing, and refurbishing products. Directs and leads repair technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and efficient turnaround times. Oversee departmental daily P&L forecasting and analysis, as well as labor planning and scheduling. Leads and guides employees engaged in wiring, soldering, and assembling fabricated components for electrical or electronic systems. Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment. Conducts comprehensive reviews of work orders for accuracy and completeness. Provides training and mentorship to repair technicians to enhance technical skills and performance. Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise. Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations. Supports departmental performance and productivity enhancements within the repair operation. Oversees the procurement of parts and equipment. Provide training and assistance across all branch areas, including department procedures and performance expectations. Suggest enhancements for ongoing process improvements. Communicates with customers to provide updates on repair status and address any concerns. Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts. Collaborates with Corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network, etc.) for troubleshooting or process improvement purposes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a repair operation. Electronics certification. Knowledge of
ISO 9000
Quality Systems and TL 9000 Quality Systems. Capable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons. Proficient in communicating technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, from simple to complex levels. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a highperforming team. Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis to drive informed decision-making. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to interact with employees, customers, and suppliers. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective problem-solving skills and strategic decision-making capabilities, emphasizing a resultsdriven approach and fostering a culture of continuous improvement Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. General knowledge of OSHA Standards. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus Technical troubleshooting/repair background Experience working with UKG and Kronos Experience in supervising temporary staff Experience in surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques 6S Quality Policy Familiarity and expertise in
IPC A-610 & IPC-7711
