Job DetailsRESEARCH ASSOCIATE JOB SUMMARY
Collects pertinent information and clinical data through medical records while maintaining patient confidentiality. Reviews and analyzes source documentation to enter onto case report forms or electronic database as directed by Research RN or manager. Retrieves medical records, angiographic films, CDs, radiology films, echocardiography images, EKGs and procedural reports from appropriate departments for research patient records and/or submission to appropriate core labs. Reviews internal databases for screening of eligible research subjects for specific studies. Uses Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and research database for office files and coordination and organization including tracking of enrolled subjects, follow-up requirements, and financial information. Obtains data from medical records and enters data into electronic database or alternative case report form as determined by Investigator or Study Sponsor. Provides inter-departmental coordination for each study protocol as needed. (Example- works with lab staff to ensure processing and shipping as per study protocol. Completes all required training and completes all tasks as directed by department manager or director.RESEARCH ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required. Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
