Expect:
The Research Compliance Coordinator 2 is independently responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the research compliance program. This position specially supports our daily maintenance of the research compliance program. The research team prides itself on having a collaborative and supportive environment which encourages growth and curiosity. Coordinates and develops educational and training programs necessary for research activities including the human subject's research protection training program and credentialing processes. Implements daily activities of a comprehensive research compliance program, as assigned, that fosters the development and execution of consistent policies, standards, and practices in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as institutional policy and procedures. Coordinates development and implementation of a departmental quality improvement, to monitor ongoing research protocols and conduct on-site audits of research processes, and auditing administrative review to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Generates quality improvement deficiency reports and coordinates the development of corrective action plans. Monitors and maintains the required assurances and certifications to maintain a research program. Coordinates the implementation and management of a Conflict of Interest Program. Performs other duties as assigned.
