Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to provide overall coordination of the UVA undergraduate initiative, Hoos Connected. Provide support to 20 to 50 ongoing Hoos Connected groups at a time, including provision of written materials, coordination of extra bonuses for participation (participant incentives) Coordinate with Residence Life and Arts & Sciences to assure adequate space is available for both groups and supervision Assist in the supervision of undergraduate facilitators leading groups Manage Hoos Connected student Executive Board, coordinating their activities to meet the overall goals of the program Manage social media presence of the program Manage the logistics of enrollment and creation of groups for Hoos Connected, including placing 300+ students into groups and assigning 50+ facilitators to intervention and supervision groups based on scheduling constraints and interpersonal considerations Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a related field` required Preferred Qualifications B.S. in Psychology or Child Development Experience using statistical software, working with complex research designs, coding observational data Experience coordinating complex projects involving coordinating efforts of multiple entities in a University context Salary Range Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
