Applications are being accepted for a Research Assistant position at the Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research (NKI) in Orangeburg, NY. This position is embedded within the CONTE Center at NKI's Center for Biomedical Imaging and Neuromodulation (C-BIN), which uses multi-modal approaches to study the functional role of slow brain network fluctuations in shaping behavior and neural processing. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate looking to gain cognitive neuroscience research experience in a fast-paced learning environment, technically proficient Research Assistant to support our neuroimaging research (CONTE Center) involving simultaneous, multimodal EEG-fMRI and physiological data collection. The overarching goal of this research is to characterize markers of brain network fluctuations and memory reactivation in rich, multimodal datasets, and to relate these markers to behavior.JOB DUTIES
Research assistant responsibilities for this CONTE project includes but not limited to: Participant recruitment and scheduling Protocol implementation/data collection (EEG-fMRI, physiological, and behavioral) Data scoring, preprocessing, and management Five-day work week which includes one (or more) weekend dayJOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior human subjects research experience is preferred Experience in one of the following is preferred: EEG, MRI, physiological, or behavioral data.Background Investigation/Justice Center Review Requirements :
