Reservations Supervisor

• Description:

• This position will lead the reservations process at the hotel.

Responsibilities will include:

monitoring/maintaining group reservations and rooming lists, involvement with hotel inventory, assisting with reservation related training, and attending hotel reservation related meetings. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: + Working with other Rooms Departments, checking room and room-type availability, to maximize room sales, yield and average room rate through upselling and other inventory and rate management initiatives. + Overseeing and assisting with the processing of individual and group reservations, rooming lists, and other reservations. + Ensuring accuracy of airline manifests, including loading, routing, cancellations, and reporting. + Working closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. + Monitoring and following up on group blocks and groups with no rooming lists. + Supervise, train, and develop agents. + Preparing and communicating a weekly report detailing pick-ups from groups. • + Must be proficient in general computer knowledge + Refined verbal and written communication skills + Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills + Excellent time-management skills + Excellent customer service and interface skills + Previous group reservations experience preferred + Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation systema dn procedures preferred
