Position Overview Training Advisor:
Contractor provides program support toAFSOC/A2
by administering the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) program and the intelligence formal training program. Note onAuthority:
The contractor submits all actions to government personnel for final review and approval; the role does not include authority to set policy, approve government documents, or obligate government resources. Essential Job Function Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA)Program Support:
Readiness and Recall (IMA Program): Conducts monthly IMA contacts to ensure recall readiness. Monitors and facilitates IMA deployment preparations and processes volunteer deployment documents. Personnel Administration (IMA Program): Manages Reserve Officer and Reserve Enlisted Performance Reports. Processes key personnel forms, including Form 1288 for hires/releases and Form 2096 for duty information. Coordination and Scheduling (IMA Program): Validates IMA and Traditional Reservist (TR) orders and manages the Command Man-Day Allocation System (CMAS). Approves Inactive Duty Training (IDT) schedules via the Unit Training Assembly Processing System (UTAPS). Resource Management (IMA Program): Manages the Manpower MPA day account and monitors all IMA formal training requests.Intelligence Training Program Administration:
Program Scheduling (Training Program): Administers and schedules theHQ AFSOC/A2
intelligence formal training program for all military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Coordinates with formal military schools, national agencies, joint-service schools, and mobile training teams. Quota Management (Training Program): Coordinates formal course quota allocations and utilization with AETC, ACC, ANG, AFRC, and the 315th Training Squadron. Reporting and Data Calls (Training Program): Coordinates and submits the annual Mission Readiness Training Program (MRTP) data call to AFPC and AFSOC Educations Operations (A1KE). Student Coordination (Training Program): Manages the student lifecycle for theAFSOF-IFTU
program by submitting training requests, obtaining Training Line Numbers (TLNs), providing student clearance status, and scheduling SSO read-ins as required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as intelligence studies or related discipline. Top Secret Clearance 5 years hands-on experience managing Reserve Personnel and Formal Training Programs out of the last 12 years. Strong analytical skills and excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills.
