Job Description
ResFrac Reservoir and Completion Engineers work directly with oil, gas, and geothermal operators worldwide to model and optimize subsurface assets. The majority of the role involves conducting modeling studies on behalf of clients, progressing three simultaneous projects once fully onboarded.
Key ResponsibilitiesA typical project runs 36 months and follows this workflow:
Collect and interpret dataBuild initial model and solicit client feedbackCalibrate model to available diagnostic and observational dataPresent calibration and confirm characterization of system behaviorUse calibrated model to inform design decision making with clientAdditional responsibilities:
Primary point of contact for clients; managing project timelineTraining of license customersDebugging customer simulations and answering user questionsWriting, reviewing, and presenting technical papersAttending and participating at industry eventsQualificationsRequiredBS, MS, or PhD in petroleum engineering, geophysics, or related fieldExperience in unconventional oil & gas and/or geothermal developmentPrior experience with numerical simulation packagesMathematical coding experience (Python, VBA, R, or equivalent)Strong presentation skills recblid aauj7uzxfsqeha3xkxekftg4am4pln Not Specified
