The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health status, and contributing to a safe and nurturing environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia. Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, ensuring any changes in health are reported promptly. Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of care provided and resident information. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts when needed for safe transfers. Support individuals with developmental disabilities through direct support and behavior management techniques. Skills Experience in senior care or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with assisted living and memory care. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Strong communication skills to interact positively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Experience in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic living environment for residents.
