Resident Job Summary:

PGY2 residents are privileged to perform the fundamental clinical treatments/procedures learned during their PGY1 and must successfully complete a minimum of 2 focused observations under the supervision of an attending physiatrist prior to being permitted to provide on call coverage for adult rehabilitation inpatients. Based on completion of a program of physiatric education and Clinical Performance Examinations, the following procedures or treatments may be performed by the above-named member of the house staff under one of the following levels of supervisory conditions: General medical history & physical Physiatric History & Physical Chart recording of diagnoses, progress notes & general medical orders Neurological Assessment Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Assessment Prescription of Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy Posted Salary Range Starting from USD $81,881.00/Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
