Resident General Manager

The Stay APT Suites brand is currently seeking a live in Resident General Manager for it's brand new property in Hampton, VA Living Accommodations are provided for Resident Managers on site at our hotels. Because Stay APT Suites are a hybrid of Apartments and Hotels, the typical guest stay is a week to several months. Great relationship skills are a must for any Resident Manager candidate.

Requirements:

Staffing the front office M-F from 8:

AM to 9:

PM, Saturday/Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collection of payment from guests, responsible for ensuring property is clean and well maintained, supervision over 3-5 associates including housekeepers and Assistant General Manager. Resident Manager is responsible for maintaining existing business relationships, community involvement and growing hotel revenues as well as coordination with the Director of Sales. Must be able to live on site in two bedroom unit.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have experience in a leadership role and managing a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work extended hours, nights and weekends.
• Must have at least basic computer skills.
• Must have strong analytical skills and decision-making ability.
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate.
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Hotel management experience will be a plus for the candidate Drug Testing and Background Checks are completed on all final candidates

TOTAL COMP PACKAGE UP TO

$90,000 +

Salary Range:

US $50,000.00-$55,000 / Year to start ; Plus 2 bedroom apartment and all expenses paid, plus bonus up to 20% of salary, plus gas allowance, plus health insurance allowance.
