Job Description
JOB With a growing portfolio of residential property parcels, King County's Department of Assessments is looking for interested applicants to apply for the Residential Appraiser II position to develop models, lead teams, and determine the true and fair value of residential property for tax-assessment purposes. Just like the industry leaders in our region, we are looking for action oriented creative thinkers who are able to multi-task and bring their technical skills and desire for excellence to this role. To coordinate, test, lead, and train the team in utilizing new technology and applications.
To utilize statistical modeling tools for analysis and documentation.
To collaboratively ensure consistent, fair, and equitable appraisals.
To develop, calibrate, test, and lead the implementation of regression models and other approaches to the valuation of a universe of properties.
To demonstrate appropriate appraisal methodology and data collection practices, serving as an example and resource for your teamAre You....An action-oriented creative thinker with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills?
Passionate about data and modeling with a keen sense and understanding of how to use data to improve operations?
