Job Description

Exceptional Community Services (ECS) is actively hiring a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) for their team in Monroe, GA. As a DSP , you'll provide high-quality care for adults with developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. You'll support daily living needs including meal preparation, housekeeping, hygiene assistance, and medication administration or supervision, while promoting independence and stability in daily routines. Job Duties:
Provide daily living support in a residential home, including personal care, hygiene, meals, and housekeeping tasks Prepare meals according to individual dietary needs and service plan requirements Support implementation of individualized service plans and behavior support strategies Observe, document, and report changes in behavior, condition, and progress Assist with or supervise medication administration per agency and physician guidelines Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community services Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and required training to ensure coordinated care Maintain a safe, supportive home environment and respond to behavioral escalations using approved techniques when needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma/GED, required Valid Georgia driver's license, required CPR/First Aid certification (or must obtain within 30 days of employment) 2+ years of experience in a related role, required Experience supporting individuals with mental/behavioral health needs and/or developmental disabilities Bring your compassion and commitment to a meaningful role, apply now.
