Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential HVAC Installer to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to homeowners. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential HVAC systems with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure that each customer receives reliable, efficient climate control solutions tailored to their needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your mechanical knowledge, and grow within a supportive environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment in residential settings following schematics and design plans. Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Connect plumbing lines, refrigerant lines, and electrical wiring accurately using technical diagrams and schematics. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems and appliances. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and mechanical tools to repair or modify systems as needed. Interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to ensure precise installation and configuration of equipment. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and system specifications. Operate a company vehicle safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites. Skills Strong construction background with experience in property maintenance and building systems. Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, plumbing, or appliance repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans effectively. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, thermostats, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Field service experience handling installation, troubleshooting, and repairs in residential environments. Familiarity with electrical wiring, wiring diagrams, Ohmmeters and equipment repair procedures. Experience working with refrigerants including ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between job sites.
