Residential HVAC Installer

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for mainly installing new HVAC systems in existing homes but also for maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that each home receives reliable climate control solutions, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency. Duties Install new HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, air cleaners, humidifiers from tear out to completion. Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal performance Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, part replacement, and calibration to maximize lifespan and efficiency Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and refrigeration gauges to repair or modify systems as needed Assist with piping connections related to HVAC installations and ensure compliance with safety standards Drive company vehicles safely to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Be courteous and respectful to our customers and your fellow co-workers. Skills Strong background with experience in building codes and safety procedures Proven service technician experience with HVAC systems or related mechanical fields Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems Mechanical aptitude is required. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Experience with field service operations including customer interaction and problem-solving on-site Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Clean background. We are seeking an experienced installer though. Training may consist of 4-6 weeks offsite (company paid).

Pay:

$20.00 - $37.00 per hour
