Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer and become a vital part of creating comfortable, energy-efficient living environments for homeowners. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with precision and care. Your mechanical expertise and passion for service will help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in HVAC design, plumbing, refrigeration, and more while making a tangible difference in people's homes. Duties Install new residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Perform system troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation of heating and cooling equipment Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and electrical wiring diagrams to accurately install and service systems Conduct field service tasks such as ductwork installation, refrigerant recharges, and component replacements with attention to safety protocols Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for metal fabrication or repairs when necessary Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ammonia refrigeration setups where applicable Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and system specifications Qualifications Proven experience in construction or service technician roles within HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration or appliance repair Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and understand HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems Experience with HVAC design principles, property maintenance, boiler operation, and equipment repair techniques Familiarity with field service procedures including troubleshooting using ohmmeters and performing maintenance tasks on complex mechanical systems Ability to operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and experience working with HVAC/R equipment is a plus Welding skills or experience with mechanical fabrication are advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance Join us in delivering top-tier residential climate control solutions!
