United is seeking Service Technicians to join our team. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of the HVAC systems in homes all throughout the KC Metro area. Starting rate of pay depends on skillset and level of experience, and could be higher or lower than range listed.

Job responsibilities:

Travel to various residences in a company van to carry out your jobs in a timely manner Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues Perform routine preventative maintenance Respond to emergency maintenance requests Communicate in a professional manner to customers, peers, and management Complete accurate electronic job tickets and related documentation Accurate and timely entry of hours worked each day Consistently exhibit safe driving habits, following all state and federal traffic laws Operate and maintain an organized and well-invented vehicle Adhere to current HVAC rules and regulations Adhere to the highest standards of quality Proper use of Tools and Equipment Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years working technical or trade HVAC experience Working knowledge of electronic wiring diagrams and schematics Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level Able to work both independently and as part of a team Current MO or KS driver's license and insurable driving record Able to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of time Able to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balance. Work safely following company policies Must have reliable transportation Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, background check, and POET.
