Residential Life Manager - Weekday

Residential Life Manager•Weekday Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Whetstone Academy is seeking a strong leader to lead our team of weekday afternoon and evening Youth Mentors. This role works alongside the direct care staff to ensure the daily schedule is followed and to model for staff effective Youth Mentor skills.

Schedule :

Monday•Thursday 12 pm to 10 pm Salary scale: $45,050•$63,600

Responsibilities:

Directly lead, coach, and supervise a team of Youth Mentors. Manage staff scheduling, conduct performance evaluations, and provide on-the-floor training. Model professional boundaries and therapeutic communication techniques for both staff and students. Facilitate daily team huddles and individual 1 on 1 supervision, as needed, to maintain program consistency. Manage the daily residential schedule. Coordinate evening programming centered on life skills, social-emotional learning, and wellness. Oversee incident reporting and crisis intervention, acting as the primary point of escalation during assigned hours. Ensure all necessary daily documentation is completed by

Youth Mentors Qualifications:

Experience managing and leading a diverse team of direct care staff Strong boundary and relationship building skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students
