AM Job Summary:
The Residential Manager is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of quality services and support to People We Serve (PWS) served in residential settings. The Residential Manager ensures quality service delivery and outcomes in compliance with State and Federal Rules and Regulations, as well as AbleLight Skills and Support policies and procedures. The Residential Manager monitors the residential services for a caseload of comprehensive intellectually disabled adults.
Essential Duties:

Serve:
  • Conducts home visits regularly per client needs in their residential setting to ensure respectful and safe environments.
  • Identifies, provides, and documents technical assistance given to providers.
  • Completes monitoring reports and addresses any concerns noted.
  • Coordinates medical services and ensures documentation, scheduling, and monitoring for all aspects of medical reports, both routine and emergent.
  • Monitors compliance of funding mechanism connected with these medical supports.
  • Ensures 24/7 on-call availability for phone calls, or as needed face-to-face support, to maintain the health and safety of the clients. Able to respond to emergencies as needed.

  • 40% Coordinates and ensures all residential responsibilities listed in Individualized Plans (IPs) are completed:
  • Attends all Service Plan and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and presents updates regarding events in the client's life. Consults with other members of the Life Skills and Support team and is prepared to present that information in these meetings or when information is requested.
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors individual service support and behavior plans (ISSPs) based on ongoing assessments (e.g., Health and Safety Assessments and Daily Living Skills Assessment).
  • Provides necessary support to clients who go through Human Rights Committee (HRC).
  • Knowledge of client files and ensure accuracy of the contents.
  • Uses Therap online documentation for each client. 20% Communicates written or verbal information to clients, professionals or significant others involved in our clients' lives and provides documentation of this communication.
  • Conducts job duties utilizing professional etiquette.
  • Provides updates to members of the IDT.
  • Participates in all meetings as assigned.
  • Keeps team members updated on your calendar.

  • Ability to work independently and evaluate individual needs and make professional decisions within established policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities system.
  • Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing and basic math skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and well as electronic medical record systems.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education:
Associates Degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience:
One years' experience working with people who are developmentally disabled.
License or Certs:
Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record. Other Must have own vehicle with insurance and ability to work in office as needed.
Pay range:
