Residential Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in group home settings and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to residents. This role is vital in ensuring that the needs of our residents are met with dignity and respect while fostering a supportive community environment. Responsibilities Supervise staff and coordinate daily activities within the residential facility. Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards related to group home and community care. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including meal preparation, personal care, and cleaning tasks. Provide direct support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents. Facilitate communication between staff, residents, families, and external service providers. Experience Previous experience in a group home or similar residential setting is preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices, including meal preparation and personal care routines. Familiarity with direct support services for individuals with varying needs. Ability to lift and assist residents as required for their safety and comfort. Experience in nursing homes or personal care homes is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships among staff, residents, and families.
