Non-Exempt, Full Time, 40 hours per week Job Summary The Upward Bound Summer Project employs two (2) college students as Residential Night Advisors to supervise, advise, and tutor approximately (70) seventy students from Belmont, Franklin, Lincoln, Sotomayor, and Wilson High Schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Residential Night Advisors ensure student participate safety and Upward Bound regulation compliance through overnight hall monitoring and supervision in an assigned residence hall. The Residential Night Advisor will supervise approximately 70 high school students who are participating in a 6-week educational program at Occidental College during the summer. Residential Advisors report directly to the Assistant Director. Job Duties 40%- Administrative
- Be informed and able to instruct students regarding emergency procedures; assist in and implement crisis management procedures and reports.

- Provide daily residential supervision for student participants throughout the tenure of the program.

- Develop and implement program activities to promote a sense of community within and outside of the residence hall as a team member and as an individual responsible for a specific RA group.
- (Essential) Minimum Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in an AA or bachelor's degree program.
EXPECTED HIRING RANGE
