Residential Production Support

Alpha Roofing in Lawrence, Kansas, is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our production support team. This is an entry-level position that plays an important role in helping our residential crews, customers, and production department operate efficiently throughout the day. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, helping a team succeed, and taking pride in being reliable and efficient. Position Overview The Production Support Technician assists the production department with job site support tasks including placing yard signs and door hangers, delivering and picking up materials, performing magnetic nail sweeps, and helping maintain clean and organized job sites. This role supports both homeowners and production crews by helping projects stay organized, professional, and on schedule. Core Responsibilities Job Site Support Place yard signs at active job sites Deliver door hangers and marketing materials in neighborhoods Perform magnetic nail sweeps around homes and properties Help maintain clean and professional job sites Pick up leftover materials and return items to the yard or suppliers Deliver small tools, materials, or paperwork to crews and job sites as needed Production Assistance Assist production managers and crews with daily support needs Help verify materials are delivered to the correct locations Assist with simple project readiness tasks Help monitor job site cleanliness and organization Support team efficiency by responding quickly to field needs Customer Interaction Represent Alpha Roofing professionally in neighborhoods and on job sites Be respectful and courteous to homeowners and the public Communicate any customer concerns or job site issues to management Requirements Basic Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to arrive on time consistently Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment Ability to walk job sites and neighborhoods throughout the day Work Ethic & Expectations Strong sense of urgency and efficiency Dependable and reliable Willingness to learn and follow instructions Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to work independently without constant supervision Pride in doing quality work and representing the company well Preferred Qualities Construction or labor experience is helpful but not required Comfortable driving throughout the local area Good communication skills Organized and self-motivated Attention to detail What Success Looks Like Job sites remain clean and professional Crews receive materials and support quickly Customers have a positive impression of Alpha Roofing Yard signs and marketing materials are placed consistently Tasks are completed efficiently and on time The production team can operate more smoothly because of your support Compensation & Growth Competitive hourly pay Opportunity for advancement within Alpha Roofing Hands-on experience in roofing and production operations Opportunity to grow into higher-level production and operations roles About Alpha Roofing Alpha Roofing has proudly served Northeast Kansas since 2004.
