We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is the point person between the client, the design team, and the field crew on the jobsite, including subcontractors. The role of the Project Manager is to oversee all aspects of a project from start to finish to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Although the Project Manager is not expected to wear a toolbelt, they need to have the technical competency and the managerial skills to actively monitor all activities and personnel on the jobsite. steveworks is a Triple Bottom Line company, committed to People, Planet, and Prosperity. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5-10
years of relevant residential remodeling and construction managementexperience Effective communication skills with clients, crew, subcontractors andmanagement Experience managing multiple (2-4) concurrent jobs at different stages ofproduction Experience running a crew, scheduling subs, and standing inspections Proficient with written communication, spreadsheets, construction management software and other technologies required for communication and tracking projects. Effective problem solving and ability to plan ahead Strong organizational and time management skills Understanding of principles of sustainability and building science such as advanced framing, air sealing, water management, and weatherizationtechniques Track record of running a safe, clean, efficient job site Ability to lead a job site team that is cohesive, mutually respectful, and works well together RRP & Massachusetts CSL a plus
C OMPENSATION AND B ENEFITS
This is a 32-40 hour per week, year-round, hourly position with a pay range of $40-50/hour depending on experience. steveworks offers a comprehensive health insurance policy for employees (including family coverage), a health reimbursement account, a 401(k) benefit, generous paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
