The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, both commercial and residential, and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including framing carpentry when necessary. Ensure all work is performed safely and up to code, adhering to company policies and procedures. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. Experience as a commercial electrician or industrial electrician is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and wiring methods. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
