We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Building Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of a residential building, ensuring the property is well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and exterior grounds. Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns, providing excellent customer service. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues. Supervise and coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Assist with emergency situations as needed, including after-hours and weekends.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Building Superintendent or similar role in property management. Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as required. Availability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
