Residential Support Specialist

Forget-Me-Not Manor is seeking an on-call Residential Support Specialist. Our mission is to provide permanent, safe, and affordable housing to those who have experienced long-term homelessness and vulnerability. Residential Support Specialists Responsibilities:

• Front office desk general reception duties, note keeping, monitoring of the facility, and assistance with other duties as they arise.
• Maintain program structure through direct contact and informal counseling with residents, crisis intervention, and enforcement of building rules.
• Collaborating with other entities to support residents in their day-to-day needs as they arise.
• Responsible for providing services to residents in the general milieu to assist in strengthening and growing personal skills and abilities in daily life.
• Facilitate therapeutic activities and engage with tenants through these activities. This has the additional option of activity suggestions and implementation of activity upon approval.
• Facility upkeep and cleaning, small maintenance needs, and home inspections.
