Job Description

Summary:
Provides direct supervision, assistance, and monitoring of the residents in Quinco's supported living facilities and related activities. Provides leadership, supervision, and support for Resident Assistants in a supportive living facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for establishing a fair and caring environment while treating residents and team members as responsible and accountable adults. Attends Transitional Treatment Team (TTT) meetings weekly. Collaborates with Care Coordinators, Medical Practitioners, and Outpatient Therapists on behalf of and for the benefit of residents. Works with residents and the Director of Residential Services to develop meaningful and measurable residential service plans that are individualized for each resident's particular needs and preferences; when indicated by the resident's clinical Service Plan, works closely with the outpatient therapist to implement behavioral management plans and collects data as part of such plans. Purchases groceries; requisitions supplies. With input and recommendations from residents, develops and posts a schedule of activities; ensures that all residents are involved in recreational, social, and educational/vocational activities consistent with individual service plans. Responsible for ensuring that posted activity schedules accurately represent the daily activities occurring at the supportive living facility and describe activities, days, times, and length of time required for each activity. Develops and maintains a proactive and collaborative working relationship with Care Coordinators and ensures equitable sharing of responsibilities for tracking and transporting to support each resident's access to medical/dental appointments and resident's participation in outpatient treatment at the local Quinco office. Responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the facility, maintains a schedule of preventative maintenance; develops a proactive working relationship with the Facilities Coordinator to collaborate on efforts to ensure that the building is impressive to visitors and attractive, comfortable, safe and secure for residents and team members; utilizations Work Request forms to ensure expedited scheduling of maintenance work. Responsible for maintaining vehicles assigned to the facility per Quinco policies and procedures. Responsible for implementing and maintaining cleaning schedules consistent with applicable policies and procedures. Responsible for developing, coordinating, and posting monthly work schedules for all team members assigned to the facility. Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting PRN staff, ensuring that there is always an ample pool of part-time PRN staff; serves as on-the-job trainer/mentor for new hires. Conducts internal environmental monitoring monthly and forwards reports/checklists to the Director of Operations; conducts or sees that they are conducted monthly fire drills during alternating shifts. Develops and posts a weekly menu and ensures reasonable and responsible nutritional management; ensures that residents have frequent input regarding food purchases using a list of choices of nutritional foods; ensures adherence to posted menus; plans menus and ensures that they are based on balanced and healthy nutrition. Responsible for the quality of all documentation and for setting an example for adequate documentation; oversees all required documentation; monitors and ensures the timeliness of all documentation; monitors charts for compliance with applicable standards. Ensures the documentation of adverse occurrences meets applicable timeliness and content standards. Responsible for completing accident reports and Workman's Compensation reports. Responsible for ensuring that Activities for Daily Living training meet requirements for frequency and content. Ensures that residents' checkbooks are balanced. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability. Must possess a current driver's license and have a good driving record. The individual must be at least 18 years of age. Experience:
Graduation from High School; 3 to 8 years related experience and/or training; prefer candidates with group home experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, ability to write clearly and legibly, ability to write brief reports on the behavior of residents.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CPR and First Aid certification and Non-violent crisis intervention training.
