Job Description
Description Pet Paradise is looking for individuals with a passion for pets to join our team as a Resort Associate and provide care for our four-legged friends.
Starting Rate:
$13.50/hour ($0.50 increase 6 months from hire date, additional $0.50 increase on annual anniversary date)PERKS AND BENEFITS

Supervise and interact with pets both inside the resort and outside in the play yards Following directions on feeding times, amounts, and type of food Maintaining cleanliness of suites and dog runs by disinfecting, washing floors, scrubbing walls and removing animal waste Emptying trash, mopping all floors, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and the employee breakroom Monitoring and recording important information about our pets and reporting any unusual behaviors, injuries, or critical information to management and veterinarian services if applicable Using proper dog handling techniques as instructed by management Keeping dogs secure and maintaining a high standard of pet safety by following and adhering to the training policiesQUALIFICATIONS TO BE A RESORT ASSOCIATE
This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and maintenance of the suites True passion for working with animals Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times Ability to receive instructions and remain adaptive to change and training materialWHAT IT IS LIKE TO WORK HERE WE ARE PET PEOPLE!
