$86,000- 123,000+ Position to be filled within the next few weeks Lake George RV Park, one of the premier camping resorts in the United States, is seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Resort Facilities & Operations Technician to join our year-round operations team.

Essential Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of resort facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and equipment Assist with carpentry, construction, remodeling, renovation, and improvement projects Perform grounds maintenance including landscaping, tree maintenance, roadway maintenance, and seasonal cleanup Operate or learn to operate specialized equipment including: Backhoe Front-end loader Wood chipper Septic vacuum equipment Man lifts Air compressors Other specialized machinery Perform snow removal operations including plowing, snow blowing, shoveling, and sanding Communicate professionally with staff and guests to resolve maintenance concerns and provide excellent customer service Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Work independently and as part of a team Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn new skills Qualifications Required Minimum of two years of relevant work experience, or Two-year technical degree with applicable hands-on experience Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Basic computer skills Ability to perform physically demanding work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Additional compensation consideration may be given for: Multi-year hospitality, campground, resort, hotel, or facilities maintenance experience Carpentry or construction experience Heavy equipment operation experience Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Swimming Pool Operator certification Spanish-speaking ability Additional trade certifications, technical training, or degrees Career Growth & Advancement This position is designed for an individual seeking a long-term career rather than simply a job. Schedule & Hospitality Lifestyle Hospitality and resort operations are seasonal by nature. Our busiest months coincide with the camping season, when providing an exceptional guest experience requires an increased level of commitment from our operations team. Team members should expect intensive seasonal operations with a lighter winter schedule. During the peak operating season, typically April through November, this includes weekends, overtime, and six-day workweeks as needed to support resort operations. During the winter months, the pace becomes more predictable and focuses on maintenance projects, facility improvements, equipment servicing, training, and operational planning, generally consisting of a standard five-day workweek. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment, appreciates variety in their work, and is seeking a long-term career in hospitality and resort operations. Compensation $35.00- 50.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications Significant overtime opportunities during peak season Expected annual compensation of approximately $86,240
