Primary School Dyslexia/Resource Teacher 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned (Core/Special Education/ESL) Reading By Design Training (preferred)

Special Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of reading, writing, and spelling instructional strategies Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation Ability to assess students for dyslexia Ability to analyze, interpret, and use student data Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience preferred •Applicants for all positions are considered without regard to race, color, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation or gender identity), national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, veteran or military status, or any other legally protected status.
