Henderson, NC Location:
Henderson, North Carolina (within 50 miles radius)
Schedule:
Flexible PRN / Per Diem (up to 24 hours/week)
Salary:
Competitive per-service pay (ranges from $5 to $100 per service) plus mileage reimbursement

We are seeking dependable and patient-focused Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT/RT) or Registered Nurses (RN) to provide in-home respiratory and medical equipment support throughout Henderson, NC, and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive in-home assessments to evaluate patients' respiratory therapy and medical equipment needs. Set up and troubleshoot respiratory and home medical equipment such as oxygen therapy systems, CPAP/BiPAP devices, ventilators, and other related devices. Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use, maintenance, cleaning, safety procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and adherence to therapy. Ensure optimal equipment function, monitor therapy compliance, and promote patient comfort and safety. Communicate regularly with the clinical team regarding patient progress, concerns, and clinical observations. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with healthcare policies and industry standards. Provide a professional, compassionate presence in patients' homes, fostering trust and confidence.

Qualifications:
Required:
Active North Carolina licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT/RT) or Registered Nurse (RN). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to educate patients effectively. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage field-based priorities, and adapt to varied patient needs.
Preferred:
Prior experience in home respiratory care or HME/DME settings. Familiarity with oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilator management. At least 1 year of related clinical experience. Comfort working in patients' homes, including occasional lifting and equipment transport.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Ability to lift and transport patient equipment as needed. Frequent standing, walking, and driving between patient locations. Close vision capabilities for reading device screens and documentation.
