Respiratory Therapist•Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Care Career_IDR Healthcare Imperial, CA 92251 $35 an hour•Part-time $35 an hour•
ResponsibilitiesProvide respiratory care services in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and generally accepted evidence-based practices.
Set up respiratory care equipment and provide patient instruction on proper use.
Perform respiratory therapy assessments and medical evaluations during scheduled clinic hours or upon request.
Make appropriate treatment recommendations to the referring provider or facility designee.
Maintain accurate and timely daily charting and documentation.
Assist with the development and updating of respiratory therapy policies and procedures.
Provide periodic assessments of equipment needs and make recommendations as needed.
Participate in special assignments as requested, including quality improvement projects, utilization review, or other respiratory care-related needs.
Follow all facility safety, security, and clinical protocols.
RequirementsMinimum of 12 continuous months of recent experience within the last 3 years performing respiratory care services similar in scope.
Current and valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the Respiratory Care Board of California.
Current credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care, NBRC.Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, CoARC, or predecessor organization.
Must be compliant with current N95 and PAPR medical clearance requirements.
Must complete annual respiratory protection training and applicable respiratory protection questionnaire requirements.
Must be proficient in English and able to communicate effectively through oral and written communication.
Must be able to complete required compliance, onboarding, and orientation requirements.
