Responsibilities include:

Set up, operate, and monitor ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment Administer prescribed therapeutic gases and aerosolized medications Monitor and document patient responses to respiratory treatments Perform respiratory assessments and evaluate patient condition Maintain proper treatment settings including oxygen levels, humidity, and temperature Troubleshoot and adjust respiratory equipment as needed Report changes in patient condition to physicians and nursing staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation Inspect and maintain respiratory therapy equipment; coordinate repairs when necessary Support staff education and training as appropriate Requirements•Night Shift Respiratory Therapist (RT) Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program Active North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License Required Respiratory Therapist certifications Ability to work independently during night shift hours Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Commitment to patient-centered care Education & Experience One to three months of Respiratory Therapist experience preferred Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
