Support clients with daily activities such as feeding, grooming, mobility assistance, and recreational engagement. Foster a nurturing environment by applying principles of special education and childcare to meet each person's unique needs. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to develop tailored care plans that promote independence and social development. Manage behavioral challenges using conflict management techniques, maintaining patience and positive reinforcement at all times. Document care activities accurately and report any significant changes or concerns to supervisors promptly. Engage in mentoring activities that encourage social skills development, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. Skills Experience or training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Strong background in behavioral health, child welfare, or social work enhances your ability to support diverse needs effectively. Proven ability to work compassionately with children and provide quality childcare in various settings. Excellent conflict management skills combined with patience and empathy for handling challenging situations calmly.
