This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, delivering exceptional customer experiences while managing daily operations with precision and enthusiasm. As the driving force behind our team, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant and bar management, ensuring smooth service, high standards of food safety, and outstanding hospitality. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize performance, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Lead and motivate the restaurant and bar team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Oversee daily operations including food preparation, cooking, and beverage service to maintain high quality standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize profitability. Supervise staff training and development, including interviewing new team members and conducting ongoing training sessions on food handling, safety protocols, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service excellence. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff education. Handle cash management duties such as cash handling procedures, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports. Oversee shift management by coordinating schedules, managing labor costs, and resolving operational issues promptly. Maintain strong relationships with vendors for catering supplies, bar inventory, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Implement policies for food production, catering services, banquet events, and bar operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Foster a positive team environment by supervising staff performance, conducting evaluations, and supporting professional growth initiatives. Skills Extensive experience in restaurant management with a focus on food service management, kitchen management, and hospitality management. Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Expertise in inventory control, food handling procedures, budgeting, and food safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle complex situations calmly and professionally. Ability to train staff effectively in culinary techniques like food preparation, cooking methods, and food production processes. Experience in managing catering events or banquet services is a plus. Competence in interviewing candidates and developing training programs to enhance team performance. Strong organizational skills for shift management, labor scheduling, and maintaining operational consistency. Knowledge of the food industry trends including fine dining experience or hotel experience is advantageous.
