Job Description
Description At Camp Margaritaville Resort, we blend laid-back island vibes with exceptional hospitality to create unforgettable experiences for every guest. From family-friendly activities to signature Margaritaville celebrations, we deliver fun, escape, and adventure in every moment. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and guest-focused Restaurant Host to be the welcoming face of our dining experience. In this role, you'll greet guests, manage seating flow, and help set the tone for outstanding service from the moment guests arrive. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements Job Requirements:
Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating assignments efficiently Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth dining operations Answer phones courteously and assist guests with questions or dining requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areas Monitor dining room flow to optimize guest experience and service timing Assist with light administrative or service support tasks as neededJob Qualifications:
Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Strong commitment to guest service and teamwork The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.Training:
