Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to run dinner service and drive exceptional guest experiences at The Copper Mug restaurant at Landoll's Mohican Castle. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who loves hospitality, values teamwork, and wants to grow with a historic castle property. Position Summary The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading all front-of-house operations during dinner shifts to deliver efficient, friendly service and profitable results. You will set the tone for every service, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced, upscale-casual environment. Schedule & compensation

Wednesday & Thursday 3:00 PM
  • 8:00 PM Friday 12:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM
  • 9:00 PM Sunday 8:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM Monday/Tuesday Off approximately 40-48 hours per week $46,000.
00 a year two weeks PTO Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all front-of-house operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring smooth, efficient service and memorable guest experiences Handle full staffing responsibilities: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and when necessary, discipline or termination Foster a positive team culture with strong morale, cooperation, and accountability among servers, hosts, and support staff Personally greet and seat guests, maintain a visible presence on the floor, and deliver genuine hospitality that makes patrons feel like family Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally to turn every visit into a reason to return Manage daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, sales reporting, and payroll Train and motivate the team on service standards, menu knowledge, wine/beverage service, and upselling techniques Partner with kitchen leadership and ownership to maintain quality, consistency, and profitability Perform hands-on duties (serving, hosting, bussing, etc.) as needed during busy periods or staff absences Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment; maintain cleanliness and organization at all times Complete required administrative tasks, reports, and weekly check-ins with ownership Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college degree or hospitality/restaurant management certification preferred Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant experience with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory role Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a high-volume or upscale-casual dining environment Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and cost control Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills Flexible availability for evenings and weekends Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, and work in a physically demanding environment (heat, cold, slippery floors, etc.) ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification a plus If you are a passionate hospitality professional who leads by example and thrives in a dynamic dinner-service environment, we want to hear from you!
