The Opportunity The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day Food & Beverage operations, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standard of hospitality. Working closely with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and the broader F&B leadership team, this role is central to developing a high-performing team, maintaining operational excellence, and creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operations & Service Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food, beverage, beer, wine, and cocktail offerings Oversee guest check processes and ensure accurate, efficient payment handling; clearly communicate procedures to associates Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards Maintain proficiency in the POS system and serve as a resource for associates on order placement and system questions Uphold a professional appearance and work environment at all times Team Leadership Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily updates, changes, and service expectations Hold associates accountable for completing duties efficiently and accurately Support associates in handling guest inquiries, special requests, and service recovery Identify and proactively address operational, financial, and personnel challenges Lead by example, demonstrating the highest level of hospitality in every interaction Additional Responsibilities Complete special projects and assignments as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage Perform other duties as assigned Core Competencies Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and team development abilities Conflict resolution and composure under pressure Adaptability and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment Financial and operational acumen Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hospitality experience; prior experience in a luxury hotel or private club strongly preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Proficiency in JONAS or similar POS/PMS systems preferred Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize competing tasks Self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision Positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality Committed to upholding and modeling company values in all interactions Supervisory Responsibilities Hosts FOH Support Servers Bartenders Lead Server/Bartenders Supervisors Benefits of Employment Competitive salary Annual discretionary bonus Heath, dental, vision insurance Matching 401(k) with match and no vesting schedule Short- & Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance paid for by the company Matching 401(k) with match and no vesting schedule Tuition reimbursement Wellness program that can be used for a Big Sky season ski pass or a gym membership End-of-season discounts on our retail store items Employee housing options available Working Conditions This role operates in a dynamic restaurant environment with moderate temperatures and variable noise levels across both front- and back-of-house settings. Schedules vary by season, generally spanning 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and move for extended periods throughout a shift Regularly lift and carry heavy objects Perform repetitive tasks in a high-energy environment Maintain visual acuity for reading menus, assessing food presentation, and written communication Verbally communicate clearly and understand spoken information in a busy environment Operate computers, telephones, and restaurant equipment with manual dexterity
