Edgewood Country Club | Charleston, WV Part-Time / Full-Time Edgewood Country Club is seeking friendly, professional, and service‑oriented Restaurant Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. This role provides attentive dining service to members and guests in a refined country club setting and is key to delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, detail‑oriented, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and polished atmosphere. Position Summary Restaurant Servers are responsible for greeting members and guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, maintaining dining room standards, and ensuring each guest receives prompt, attentive, and professional service. Servers work closely with the kitchen, bar, and management teams to deliver a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Key Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Serve food, beverages, and desserts according to club service standards Respond knowledgeably to questions about menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings Maintain working knowledge of current menus, specials, and club offerings Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests Clear plates, glassware, and silverware in a timely and professional manner Assist with table setup, resetting, and overall dining room cleanliness Communicate clearly and professionally with kitchen, bar, and management staff Accurately process member charges and payments as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service procedures Complete side work, stocking, and closing duties as assigned Maintain a neat, polished, and professional appearance at all times Qualifications Prior restaurant, country club, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, glassware, and dining supplies as required Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Willingness to learn menu knowledge and club service standards Schedule & Employment Type This position may be part‑time or full‑time based on availability and business needs.
