As a Restoration Technician, you will utilize your hands-on skills and industry knowledge to perform cleaning, repair, and remediation tasks efficiently and safely. Duties Perform water damage restoration by extracting moisture, drying structures, and preventing mold growth using specialized equipment and techniques Conduct fire restoration tasks including debris removal, soot cleanup, and odor control to restore properties to their pre-loss condition Execute mold remediation procedures following industry standards to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, construction, or repair work as needed during restoration projects Carry out cleaning services such as surface cleaning, and detailed sanitation to ensure thorough property recovery Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress or issues to project managers effectively Skills Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields with a focus on water, fire, or mold damage repair is helpful but not required Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation processes Skilled in operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during restoration tasks Familiarity with fire restoration procedures, water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement protocols is helpful but not required Ability to follow safety guidelines meticulously while handling hazardous materials or working in potentially unsafe environments Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling complex restoration challenges Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients throughout projects Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to helping individuals and businesses recover from devastating events.
