Job Description
Job Summary As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the daily operations of the retail store. You will assist in overseeing staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in supervising store staff and day-to-day operations
- Help with budgeting, stock management, and maintaining appropriate inventory levels
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales reports and make data-driven decisions
- Support in payroll processing and administrative tasks
- Handle cash transactions and ensure cash handling procedures are followed Skills
- Experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a retail environment
- Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts
- Strong supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of stock management and inventory control
- Familiarity with retail math concepts
- Competence in payroll processing and administrative duties
- Proficient in cash handling procedures Pay will be based on experience
