Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their needs Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized Conduct regular stocking and inventory checks to keep shelves replenished and accurate Handle cashiering duties with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, stocking, and retail math concepts Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Experience supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous but not required Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach Must be able to lift 50lb boxes This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the retail industry.
