Retail Marijuana Budtender - Sugarloaf Dispensary

Sugarloaf is looking for reliable, professional, and customer service oriented individuals to join our team. Budtenders are required to maintain high levels of product knowledge and to provide an excellent customer shopping experience during every transaction. Budtenders will process customer transactions, prepare order ahead orders, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, along with other duties as assigned by management. Budtenders must stay knowledgeable of all products, prices, specials, and MED rules. Valid MED badge required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Flexible availability required (including nights, weekends, and holidays) Must be 21+ with a valid MED badge Punctuality and excellent attendance are required Basic computer skills and ability to operate a Point-of-Sale system Cash handling experience Customer service and strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Professional and positive demeanor Must work well with others and be able to take direction General Cannabis knowledge and knowledge of MED regulations

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Provide a positive experience for every customer to encourage repeat business Greet and check-in all customers Follow all MED regulations when checking ID's Process Customer Transactions Educate customers on cannabis products and provide product recommendations Stay within one-ounce product limit Ensure proper products, weights, and discounts have been applied to every sale Accurately process cash transactions Prepare Order Ahead Orders Answer Phone Calls Maintain knowledge of products, discounts, and rewards program Maintain a clean and Organized Sales Floor Assist with labeling inventory and flower drams as needed Any other duties as assigned by Management If you are passionate about the cannabis industry and have a strong background in retail sales, we would love to hear from you!
