We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Regularly stands for extended periods, walks, uses hands, talks, and hears. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, or crouches. Frequently lifts up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 40 pounds. This is an indoor position with a minimum level of noise. Valid Driver's License. Strong understanding of retail service standards and daily golf shop operations. Knowledge of merchandising practices, inventory procedures, and product presentation Basic knowledge of the game of golf preferred Professional verbal communication and interpersonal skills Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work flexible hours based on golf shop business needs Manage multiple priorities in a golf club retail environment Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Comfort using the internet and other digital tools in a professional setting Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Willingness to learn new products, systems, and procedures Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associate may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English) This position description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
