Retail Sales Associate

Rocket Fizz is looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable Cashier / Sales Associate to create a fun shopping experience for our customers. This role includes operating the register, helping customers find products, stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced candy and soda retail environment. Responsibilities Greet every customer with a positive and welcoming attitude Operate cash register and process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately Assist customers with candy, soda, novelty gifts, and product recommendations Restock shelves, coolers, and displays throughout the day Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area Help receive and organize inventory shipments Monitor product freshness and store presentation Answer customer questions and resolve basic issues professionally Follow all store policies, opening/closing procedures, and safety standards Support teammates and help maintain a fun team environment Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality Reliable and punctual Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Comfortable standing for extended periods Basic math and cash handling skills Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Weekend and holiday availability preferred Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus, but not required Ideal Candidate Enjoys interacting with people Works well independently and with a team Has strong communication skills Pays attention to detail Loves candy, soda, and fun retail environments Schedule Part-time and full-time positions available Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Compensation Hourly pay based on experience Employee discounts
