Retail Sales Associate Appliances 4 Less New Orleans Gretna, LA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $14 - $20 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Moving High school diploma or GED Cash register Furniture sales Retail math Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide professional, friendly assistance in-store Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, etc.) Explain product features, specifications, pricing, warranties, and financing options Close sales and accurately process orders, payments, and invoices Coordinate delivery, pickup, and installation scheduling Maintain product displays, pricing labels, and showroom cleanliness Assist with inventory checks and reporting low or fast-moving stock Handle customer questions, concerns, and basic after-sales support Follow company sales procedures, promotions, and compliance policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail or sales experience preferred (appliance or furniture sales a plus) Strong communication and customer service skills Basic math and computer/POS system skills Ability to learn technical product information quickly Comfortable lifting or moving appliances Skills & Attributes Sales-driven and goal-oriented mindset Honest, patient, and customer-focused attitude Strong problem-solving ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional Work Environment Retail showroom setting Weekend and holiday availability may be required Standing and walking for extended periods Performance Metrics Sales volume and conversion rate Customer satisfaction and repeat business Accuracy of orders and paperwork Product knowledge and upselling effectiveness
