Retail Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. You will assist customers in finding the right products, handle transactions, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Utilize the POS system to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase store revenue. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and promotions. Assist in supervising junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment. Perform retail math calculations as needed for inventory management and sales reporting. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register. Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist with inventory tasks. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A proactive attitude towards upselling and meeting sales goals is highly desirable.
